All Paws Rescue, Inc. comepting in "America's Favorite Animal Shelter" contest

With $10,000, All Paws Rescue, Inc. could provide more medical care for stray and neglected animals and more education for the public about homeless animals. With local support, the non-profit St. Charles animal shelter has a chance to win that money in Care2's "America's Favorite Animal Shelter" contest. Care2, an online community of people passionate about making a difference, is holding the contest with Adopt-A-Pet.com, a non-profit pet adoption charity, to recognize the efforts of animal shelters as well as bring awareness to homeless animals.

Local citizens and supporters determine the winner of the contest by voting. $10,000 will go to the grand prize winner, and the four runner-ups will receive, $3,000, $1,000, $500 and $500, respectively. Vote here for All Paws Rescue, Inc. The contest ends Saturday, Nov. 1.
