Tammy White began her career in fashion at age 18 with Sacks Fifth Avenue. She later joined iconic footwear lines like Brown Shoe, Timberland & Airwalk before opening her first retail store, Soul for your Sole, men’s and women’s Euro-inspired footwear in 1999 at age 31 in the University City Loop. Three years later in 2001 she launched St. Louis’ first men’s and women’s denim boutique, Blues. The concept was revolutionary and quickly adopted by independent boutiques throughout the U.S. Over the last 10 years White has been recognized throughout the industry and throughout the fashion world for her cutting edge product prowess, and her ability to connect to shoppers; dressing rockstars, localites, and fashion newbies.

G’sell, 6277 Delmar Blvd. is White’s latest addition to her boutique portfolio; an ode to her French heritage (Mother’s maiden name G’Sell) & a celebration of her landmark 40th birthday. “For the first 10 years of my entrepreneurial career I wanted to develop great concept stores with quality product that would knock the socks of off my clients. Now that I’m starting a new chapter in my life, I wanted to focus inward by creating a boutique that reflects another side of me… and in turn providing clothing that reflects another side of my customers.”

G’Sell boutique celebrates women ages 14-40+ offering skirts, dresses, frills, thrills and French-inspired home goods at a price that won’t break your pocket book.
