Olympus Theatre re-opens with a bang and plans "Mount Olympus Mixer" on Oct. 19
After a three-year hiatus, the Olympus Theatre is re-opening in 2009. The following is from their press release. It includes showtimes, dates and the first "Mount Olympus Mixer." See below:
After a three year absence from regular theatre performance (not counting a couple special events here and there) in St. Louis, Olympus Theatre is proud to announce a return to the stage in 2009 with four productions and two cabaret shows in a permanent location!
We're proud of our past and are looking forward to our future, but we also know that being "out of the scene" for awhile means that we need to reach out those people who have contributed to our successes in the past. To do that - and to introduce our 2009 season and new permanent location - we are hosting the first Mount Olympus Mixer, on October 19, 2008, at The Stage Under Immanuel Church, 3460 Jamieson Avenue in St. Louis, from 4-8pm. Here, you will be able to preview our shows for next season, rekindle past relationships and get the low-down on casting for next year. You may even walk out of the event precast or asked to work behind in the scenes in one of our shows for next year! Remember, Olympus Theatre does share box office receipts with cast members for each show.*

April: Olympus Cabaret: HollywoodLand
June: Love! Valour! Compassion!
August: Olympus Cabaret: Just Jazz
September: (World Premiere) Anatomy Of A Diva - our local emerging artist series continues
October: Streamers
